I've walked by this restaurant innumerable times and never stoped in. I'm always scheduling my appointments back to back with no time in between. Today I found myself with 1.5 hours to kill late afternoon and, walking by Olio, decided to stop in. Paola was tending bar & I easily made myself comfortable at the bar. The atmosphere is just lovely. The light, decor and vintage mirrors everywhere make it feel like you're eating in an open air restaurant in Italy. Almost every table was full but the noise level was low. The acoustics must be terrific in there. I imagine a meal here with friends would be so enjoyable, actually being able to hear one another over a meal? Fantastic. I had a glass of their house white wine which was crisp and light, perfect for the summer day. Feeling indulgent, and vaguely remembering hearing theirs is remarkably good, I ordered their carbonara. When the bowl arrived I was breathless. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, precisely the amount of parmigiano reggiano you'd want (which is a lot, but not overbearing) and the Prosciutto? Be still my heart. Thank you Paola & the chefs at Olio for a phenomenal spontaneous lunch. I'll be back again to try the pizza.

Food. Fantastic. Menu is limited for brunch but ask for what you have on your mind and they'll see if they can do it for you. Service is quick. Ambiance feels like grandmas kitchen. Love it.

What an Italian gem in Greenwich! This places deserves a chef's kiss, MUAH! It has indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful decor and ambiance. Online reservations made it easy to save a table without needing to wait. We have to give out the biggest shoutout to our incredible waiter, Jhon R! Not only was he attentive and took good care of us, he was entertaining and carried great conversations with us. We bonded over the love of traveling and bourbon! Now, into the food: - Pinamenta: pineapple mocktail that was sweet and delicious! - Frutti de Bosco: strawberry mocktail, in which it was requested to be made sweeter with more grenadine. Also good but we preferred the pinamenta. - Complimentary bread with pickled onions snd olives in olive oil: yummy crusty bread and the pickled onions were definitely my favorite in this. - Fusilli E Manzo: really yummy! The fusilli doesn't look like the typical corkscrew pasta, so you can tell it was handmade. The texture of the pasta had some bite to it and carried the sauce with it very well. - Spaghetti Chitarra Alla Carbonara: a fan favorite and it definitely speaks for itself. May be the best carbonara I've ever had! Rich, but not too rich. So flavorful and well-balanced. Again, great pasta texture and bite! - Campagnola Pizza: made in a wood brick oven and you can smell it. The crust is thinner and cut into large slices. Very delicious! - We liked spicy food so we asked for extra spice on the side and Jhon brought red chili pepper flakes as well as a separate bowl of chili oil. I'm glad these are their spices of choice, versus having some brand name bottle of hot sauce that could potentially change the flavors of the food too much. We sat down at 9pm and easily spent 2 hours there dining. We had such a great time and a great meal. It's bookmarked for us to come back in the future! Thanks again! Tourist tip: it's an 8 min walk away from the FRIENDS apartment building, where the exterior was filmed for the FRIENDS tv show. You can go take a picture of it outside!

Pricey but did not disappoint. Ambience is classy-rustic-garden. Service is on point. Food is delicious. Carbonara was amazing - creamy and savory. Maybe a tad too salty. Table bread was soft and fluffy. Bruschetta tricolore is refreshing and light - drizzle some extra EVOO and it was soooo good. Pizzas are good too. Fluffy crust.

I can start off by saying that the food was amazing. We had the fried calamari, the breadsticks with truffle cheese dip, and the bruschetta to start. For drinks, we ordered a few of their specialty cocktails which I have unfortunately have forgotten the names of but can confirm that everyone enjoyed their meals. For main courses, we got: the daily special ravioli, the carbonara (my fave of them all), the pasta bolognese, and the branzino (my second fave). It was all delicious and I will be thinking about that carbonara for a long time. I'd say that it beats all the carbonara's I've had in Italy so far (and I've been many times to many cities). And I always get carbonara anywhere so I'm usually a very harsh critic. I only took one star off because the service was ok but didn't match the level of the deliciousness of the food. I suppose they can work on that a bit. The drinks were slow to come out, they didn't all come at the same time, it was clear that one of them had been sitting out for a bit and had been diluted by the ice cube. The appetizers came out at random times; with one coming out only after we had already received our main courses. I will say though that the hostess was wonderful and made our check in process wonderful. It did seem like a very busy night for a random mid-week evening but, hey, I will definitely come back and I hope to add that 5th star at some point. Still highly recommend. Get the carbonara.

Came here for lunch without reservations on a weekday and we were sat pretty quickly! We opted to dine outside since the weather was nice. The restaurant was such a beautiful space and had a great ambiance. We were served free bread. I loved the olive oil with actual olives inside but the bread was a little stale. Ordered the carbonara and pesto pastas. Our server was friendly and asked us about any allergies and also let us know that the carbonara contained raw egg yolk. I really enjoyed the carbonara as it was creamy, flavorful and had lots of bacon. The pesto was great as well and the pasta shapes were unique. The pesto sauce was flavorful and nutty. Overall I really enjoyed the dishes and will be back to try other dishes.

Excelente customer service and the food is amazing the ambiance incredible - , el personal es muy amable y atento , la comida es muy rica y tienen mucha variada . Gabriel el mejor !!

Made a reservation for 7:15 PM and was seated at exactly that time. The restaurant is a tad stuffy, with plants used as table dividers. It was beautiful inside though! The food was delicious and nicely presented. The carbonara was the main event, it was so good! I recommend. Definitely wanna come back.

Amazing food, wonderful service (shoutout Jose), and great ambience (restaurant is beautiful). Definitely recommend.

The whole experience was great. The bartender Luís was amazing and also he take care of us really well. I enjoy the food and the drinks. Is the best pasta carbonara.
